Need a little help preparing for another school year? Get organized for back to school with these 5 free resources for primary teachers.
Getting Organized
1. Start out the year organized! Sort through your classroom supplies and throw out old or damaged items. Store like items together in labeled containers so they are easy to find. Student supplies should have a home base and be labeled so students can find them and put them away on their own! Get started by organizing your math manipulatives with these free MATH SUPPLY LABELS. TIP! Print 2 copies of the labels. One for the container and one for the spot on the shelf where they are stored. This makes it easy for students to put supplies away in the correct spot.

2. Think ahead to how you will keep student papers and work organized. One of the easiest systems I have used is Finished and Still Working tubs. Students simply hand their work into the correct tub at the end of the class …..a simple routine you can introduce the first day! Now you can quickly assess who still needs time to finish an assignment without sorting through all the papers. Find these labels and more in this free LABELS & LISTS resource.
